*Please read the terms and conditions below carefully.

1. ACCEPTANCE

  • 1.1 The terms and conditions contained herein (the “Conditions”) constitute a user agreement between you and ÉQUIPEMENTS ROADLOFT INC. (“Roadloft”) for the website owned by Roadloft and the service it offers, as described in Article 2 below (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree that you have read and understood these provisions, that you are at least sixteen (16) years of age, and that you agree to be bound by the Conditions.
  • 1.2 For the purposes of this document, the term “user” refers to any user of the Site who is at least sixteen (16) years of age. If you decline the provisions of this Policy, please refrain from using the Site.
  • 1.1 Roadloft reserves the right to modify the Conditions at any time, without prior notice. The user must regularly consult this page to view the latest version of the Conditions. The updated Conditions take effect upon their online publication by Roadloft. If the user consults the Site after this date, it will serve as proof of their acceptance of the modified or revised Conditions. If the user finds the new Conditions unacceptable, their sole recourse is to cease all use of the Site.

2. SERVICE DESCRIPTION

  • 2.1 Through the Site, Roadloft provides a service for selling multifunctional, scalable, compact, and lightweight minivan conversion modules, including a selection of accessories and derivative products, to enable adventure travel with spontaneity, freedom, and comfort.
  • 2.2 Any new feature added to or complementing the Service will be subject to these Conditions.

3. GENERAL CONDITIONS AND SITE USE

  • 3.1 Roadloft authorizes you to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with the Conditions. The user is not authorized to: (i) license or sublicense, sell, resell, rent, or otherwise commercially exploit the Site or make it available to a third party in any way other than expressly authorized herein; (ii) use the Site for data processing on behalf of a third party; (iii) use the Site unlawfully or in a manner that may disrupt or impair its integrity or effectiveness and that of its components. The Site may only be used for exclusively legal purposes.
  • 3.2 The user must refrain from modifying, altering, adapting, hacking the Site, and obtaining unauthorized access to sections to which RoadLoft prohibits public access, systems, or networks used by Roadloft. Furthermore, the user shall not take any action likely to disrupt or impair the operation of the Site or the networks and servers linked to the Site.
  • 3.3 The user assumes full responsibility for the information, data, texts, messages, and other content uploaded or transmitted as part of their use of the Site. Maintaining the confidentiality of the user's login details and account identifier, if applicable, is the sole responsibility of the user, as is any activity carried out under their username or in their account.
  • 3.4 Roadloft reserves the right to access all user accounts, if applicable, to respond to technical support requests that may be addressed to it. RoadLoft undertakes to maintain adequate administrative, physical, and technical protective measures to protect the security, confidentiality, accessibility, and integrity of user data. Roadloft undertakes not to disclose user data, unless required by law or expressly authorized in writing by the user.   • 3.5 Data transiting on the Site is encrypted via SSL protocol. Roadloft restricts access to this data only to its employees and the employees of the storage and hosting service provider for whom access is necessary to operate the Site. Roadloft will make all reasonable efforts to announce planned service interruptions on its Site.
  • 3.6 Any use or disclosure of personal information provided by the user in any communication must comply with Roadloft's Privacy and Personal Information Protection Policy, which can be viewed by clicking on the following hyperlink: https://roadloft.com/politique-de-confidentialite/.
  • 3.7 The user acknowledges and understands that, despite the security measures used and implemented by Roadloft, communications with Roadloft staff members may be intercepted. Due to the risks identified below relating to electronic communications, Roadloft cannot guarantee their security and confidentiality:
  • 3.7.1 The use of electronic communications to disclose sensitive information may increase the risk of such information being disclosed to third parties;
  • 3.7.2 Despite reasonable efforts to protect personal information and ensure the security of electronic communications, it is impossible to fully secure this information;
  • 3.7.3 Roadloft or any authority may have a legally recognized right to inspect and retain electronic communications received and transmitted by their system;
  • 3.7.4 Electronic communications can be rerouted, intercepted, disseminated, stored, or even modified without Roadloft or the user knowing or authorizing it;
  • 3.7.5 Even if the sender and recipient have deleted electronic messages, there may be backup copies on a computer system;
  • 3.7.6 Emails can be easily rerouted, which increases the risk of unintentional sending to an unknown recipient;
  • 3.7.7 It is impossible to verify the sender's identity or ensure that only the recipient can read the email once it is sent.
  • 3.8 Roadloft's failure or non-enforcement of any right or provision herein does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. The user acknowledges that these Conditions constitute a contract with Roadloft, govern the use of the Site, and supersede any prior contract, agreement, understanding, or agreement with RoadLoft.

4. USER COOPERATION

  • The user agrees to immediately inform Roadloft of any unauthorized use of the Site or any security breach of which they are aware. At Roadloft's request, they also agree to cooperate to allow Roadloft to curb, prevent, and resolve any security issues or unauthorized use of the Site.

5. USER PROFILE

  • If a personal account is created by the user, if applicable, the user who creates their account agrees to: i) provide truthful, accurate, current, and complete information in any registration form, and ii) maintain and promptly update the information so that it remains truthful, accurate, current, and complete. Roadloft reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to all or part of the Site if it has reasonable grounds to believe that such information is false, inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete. Roadloft's use of any information identifying the user provided by the user during the registration process is governed by Roadloft's Privacy and Personal Information Protection Policy, which can be viewed by clicking on the following hyperlink: https://roadloft.com/politique-de-confidentialite/.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  • 6.1 All rights, title, and interest related to the Site and its components, including all intellectual property rights, belong and will continue to belong exclusively to Roadloft, subject only to the restricted right of access and use expressly granted herein to the user.
  • 6.2 The "RoadloftMC" trademark and Roadloft logos used or represented on the Site are trademarks exclusively owned by Roadloft.
  • 6.3 The content of the Site is protected by the Copyright Act (Canada), RSC 1985, c. C-42 and belongs to Roadloft, to the true owners who have granted a license to Roadloft, or to the party credited as the content provider, as the case may be. Except as granted in the restricted license herein, any use of the content, including modification, transmission, presentation, distribution, republication, or any other exploitation of the Site or its content, in whole or in part, is prohibited without the express prior consent of Roadloft.
  • 6.4 Subject to the Conditions, a restricted non-transferable and non-exclusive license is granted to the user, allowing them to access the Site and use its content for personal and non-commercial purposes. The user is authorized to download, store, and/or print a single copy of the content for their personal and non-commercial use, provided that all copyright and other notices contained in this content are retained. The user may not reproduce or redistribute articles included in the online content of the Site. They must also comply with any additional requirements governing the use of any specific content that may be presented on the Site. In the event of a conflict between the terms of a license governing specific content and this agreement, the terms of the specific license will prevail.

7. LINKS – THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES

  • 7.1 The Site may contain links to third-party websites. These links are made available to the user solely for their convenience and do not represent a recommendation or promotion by Roadloft of any third-party website or its content.
  • 7.2 Unless expressly stated, Roadloft does not operate any third-party website linked to the Site, is not responsible for the content of such a site, and makes no representations, warranties, or commitments of any kind regarding any third-party website, including, but not limited to: i) no representations, warranties, or commitments regarding the legality, accuracy, reliability, completeness, timeliness, or relevance of any content of such a third-party website, ii) no representations, warranties, or commitments regarding the quality and/or suitability for a particular purpose of any third-party website or the materials, content, software, products, or services offered on or available through these third-party websites, or iii) no representations, warranties, or commitments indicating that the operation of these third-party websites will be continuous and error-free, that defects or errors in these third-party websites will be corrected, or that these third-party websites will be free of viruses or any other harmful elements.
  • 7.3 Roadloft is not affiliated with any third-party website that contains, displays, or transmits any illegal or indecent information of any kind, including, but not limited to: i) any content representing or encouraging conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any provision of a law or regulation that could be damaging or prejudicial to Roadloft's activities, operations, credibility, or integrity, or ii) any website containing, displaying, or transmitting any material or information of any kind that violates or infringes the rights of others, including material constituting an invasion of privacy or publicity rights, or that is protected by copyrights, trademarks, or other exclusive rights.
  • 7.4 Roadloft reserves the right to prohibit or refuse to accept, at any time, any link to the Site, including any link that contains any content or information of the aforementioned nature or that provides access to it. The user who inserts a link to the Site on a third-party website in contravention of the Conditions must immediately remove the link to the Site, upon simple notice to that effect by Roadloft, which reserves the right to claim all damages and to initiate any necessary legal or injunctive proceedings.

8. ONLINE STORE

  • 8.1 The user agrees to comply at all times with the terms, conditions, and payment methods related to the Site's online store. All payments for products sold through the Site must be made by credit card via the StripeMC online payment platform provided by Woocommerce. The user agrees to comply with the terms, conditions, and payment methods related to the use of the online payment platform made available to them by Roadloft and acknowledges that all Conditions are subject to the application of the specific terms and conditions of any of the online payment platforms made available to the user by Roadloft.
  • 8.2 RoadLoft does not store any of the user's banking data on its servers.
  • 8.3 Certain products may be sold exclusively online on the Site. Products may be available in limited quantities. All exchanges or returns of goods must be made in accordance with the Return and Exchange Policy.
  • 8.4 Roadloft has made every effort to ensure that the descriptive images of the products sold through the Site accurately reflect the textures, colors, and design of the products. As each user uses a different device to view the Site, Roadloft cannot guarantee the user that their general perception of the product will not be affected or altered, particularly due to the quality of the images and colors that differ from device to device.
  • 8.5 Roadloft reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to limit the sales of its products and services to any person and/or in any geographical area.
  • 8.6 Roadloft reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to limit the quantities of any product or service offered.
  • 8.7 Roadloft reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to stop offering a product.
  • 8.8 The user is solely responsible for verifying in advance that the product sold by Roadloft on the Site is authorized and compliant with the applicable laws in the territory where the user intends to use it. The user is also solely responsible for using the product in accordance with the applicable laws in the territory where they intend to use it.
  • 8.9 The general information provided on the Site is for informational purposes only. The description and price of any product sold by Roadloft through the Site may be modified by Roadloft at any time, without prior notice and at its sole discretion.
  • 8.10 Roadloft reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse any order from a user, reduce, or cancel the quantities of products purchased, particularly based on orders made by or from the same user account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event of a modification or cancellation of an order, Roadloft will notify the user by email, to the billing address or phone number provided by the user.
  • 8.11 Roadloft reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse any order that appears to originate from a merchant, reseller, or distributor.
  • 8.12 Roadloft reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse to ship an order if it is unable to confirm the billing address linked to the credit card used. It also reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse to ship an order to an address different from the one linked to the credit card used.

9. CANCELLATION AND TERMINATION

  • 9.1 If the user agrees to receive information from Roadloft, they may at any time request to stop receiving it. The user may send a written notice to this effect to Roadloft at the following address: info@roadloft.com. At the user's request, Roadloft undertakes to destroy user data upon closure of their account. However, the user understands that it is not always possible to completely remove or modify information in Roadloft's databases and servers or in the records of any third party who has received information in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Policy.
  • 9.2 Roadloft reserves the right: i) to modify or interrupt access to the Site (in whole or in part) temporarily or permanently, ii) to prohibit current or future use of the Site or to close the user's account (in whole or in part), if applicable, and to remove or delete archived content for any reason in accordance with the law, particularly if Roadloft believes that the user is or has acted in contravention of these Terms.
  • 9.3 The user acknowledges and agrees that if Roadloft discontinues access to their user account, if applicable, they may no longer be able to access the Site, their account information, and the files or data contained in their account, subject to any obligation Roadloft may have under applicable laws.
  • 9.4 Roadloft is solely responsible for determining what constitutes a violation of the Terms, at its sole discretion. Any illegal use of the Site, such as copyright infringement or any use deemed inappropriate by Roadloft, at its sole discretion, whether it expressly violates the law or not, will constitute a direct violation of these Terms.
  • 9.5 Roadloft is in no way obliged to act promptly in this regard and any inaction cannot be interpreted as an acceptance of a prohibited use of the Site. Roadloft disclaims all liability to the user or a third party in the event of modification, interruption, or cessation of the Site.

10. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

  • 10.1 Although RoadLoft strives to provide accurate, precise, up-to-date, and timely information, no representation or warranty is given and no undertaking, express or implied, regarding the Site and its content, is made to the user that: i) the content of the Site, or websites accessible through it, or any other item available on or through the Site, is reliable and will be suitable for any particular purpose, ii) the Site or its content will be accurate, complete, up-to-date, reliable, timely, or suitable for any particular purpose, iii) the operation of the Site will be continuous or error-free, iv) defects or errors in the Site or its content, whether attributable to human or computer error, will be corrected, v) the Site will be free of viruses or harmful elements, and vi) communications to or from the Site will be inaccessible to third parties and/or will not be intercepted.
  • 10.2 Although Roadloft staff strive to read and respond promptly to electronic communications, no guarantee is given as to any response time.
  • 10.3 The user acknowledges and agrees that their access to and use of the Site and its content is entirely at their own risk.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  • 11.1 Roadloft, its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and their respective successors and assigns shall in no event be liable for damages of any kind, including, without limitation, any loss or damage resulting in material injury, bodily injury, inaccurate information, or any other damage suffered in connection with the use of the Site, whether or not such use complies with the Terms, regardless of the cause of such injury.
  • 11.2 Roadloft also disclaims all liability for the acts, omissions, and conduct of any user of the Site, or any advertising appearing on the Site.
  • 11.3 Applicable law may not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or certain limitations of liability, depending on the circumstances. In these specific situations, Roadloft limits the scope of its liability to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

12. INDEMNIFICATION

The user agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Roadloft and its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and their respective successors and assigns from and against any claim, demand, or expense of any kind, including, without limitation, legal fees and disbursements arising directly or indirectly from the use of the Site, the user's failure to comply with the Terms, a user's reliance on any information contained on the Site, the user's inability to access the Site or its content, including any website linked to or that may be linked thereto from time to time.

13. FORCE MAJEURE

Roadloft disclaims all liability for failure or delay in service caused by an act of war, hostility, or cyber sabotage, by a natural disaster, by a failure of the electricity grid, the Internet, or the telecommunications system, or by any other event beyond Roadloft's control. Roadloft will make all reasonable efforts necessary to mitigate the consequences of a force majeure event.

14. ASSIGNMENT AND SUBCONTRACTING

Roadloft reserves the right to assign or transfer all its rights, title, and interests in these Terms, in whole or in part, without any restriction. Under these terms, Roadloft is also authorized to assign its rights and obligations, in whole or in part, to subcontractors at any time, without restriction or obligation to obtain any prior consent whatsoever.

15. USER CONTENT POSTING

  • 15.1 The Site may offer features that allow users to post messages and content in designated sections, participate in discussion groups, interact with Roadloft and other users, and upload files, documents, and other materials ("Posts"). Roadloft does not control the content of any Posts and is not obligated to monitor them. However, Roadloft reserves the right, at any time, to disclose any information necessary to comply with any law, regulation, government request, or law enforcement request, or to edit, refuse to post, or refuse to remove any Post, in whole or in part, that it deems, in its sole discretion, objectionable or contrary to law or the Terms. The user acknowledges that they are solely responsible for the content of their Posts and their consequences.
  • 15.2 By posting or publishing Posts on the Site, you grant Roadloft a perpetual, non-exclusive, irrevocable, unrestricted, and worldwide license to: i) use, reproduce, store, adapt, translate, modify, transmit, distribute, perform, or publicly display such Posts, or create derivative works from them, for any purpose whatsoever, and ii) sublicense to third parties the unlimited right to exercise the aforementioned rights. In addition to the granting of the aforementioned license, the user hereby waives all moral rights relating to their Post in favor of Roadloft, that their name or email address identifies them as the provider of the Post, if applicable, and consents to the disclosure and display of such information and any other information appearing in or associated with their Post. The user acknowledges and agrees that Roadloft disclaims all liability relating to a user's Post.
  • 15.3 Users who use Site features that allow posting or making Posts do so at their own risk. Furthermore, such use must not:
  • 15.3.1 restrict or inhibit any other user's use and enjoyment of the Site or hinder or attempt to hinder the proper functioning of the Site or do anything that, in Roadloft's sole discretion, imposes an unreasonable or disproportionate burden on the Site's infrastructure;
  • 15.3.2 transmit or communicate material, information, or data that violates laws and regulations, post or transmit any unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or obscene information of any kind, including, without limitation, any Post constituting or encouraging conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any local, state, provincial, territorial, national, or international law or regulation, if applicable;
  • 15.3.3 post or transmit any Post, including, without limitation, articles, images, stories, software, or other material, that violates or infringes the rights of third parties, including material that infringes on privacy or publicity rights, or that is protected by intellectual property rights, including, without limitation, copyright, patent, trade secret, trademark, or any related right, without first obtaining the consent of the owners or holders of the rights;
  • 15.3.4 post or transmit any Post containing a virus or other harmful element;
  • 15.3.5 post or transmit spam, chain letters, or unsolicited mass mail;
  • 15.3.6 use the website for commercial purposes, including, without limitation, posting or transmitting any Post that contains advertising.

16. APPLICABLE LAW

  • 16.1 These Terms and the relationship between the user and Roadloft under these Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the law in force in the Province of Quebec (Canada) without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. The user hereby expressly agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Quebec (Judicial District of Quebec) for the resolution of disputes relating to the Terms. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the user agrees that RoadLoft remains authorized to seek injunctive relief (or any other equivalent emergency measure) from any competent authority.
  • 16.2 If a court with full jurisdiction to hear the matter finds that any provision of these Terms is invalid, that provision will be removed from the Terms without any other provision being modified. All other provisions of these Terms will continue to be in full force and effect.

17. Versions

The Terms and any document incorporated herein by reference constitute the entire agreement between the user and Roadloft. In the event of any discrepancy between the English and French versions of these Terms, the French version shall prevail.

Limited Warranty – 60 months and 24 months


Important Note

Up to and including April 11, 2025, the warranty offered by Roadloft was for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase shown on the invoice.
As of April 12, 2025, this warranty policy applies as follows:

  • Roadloft Products (excluding ProMaster kit): sixty (60) month warranty from the date of purchase shown on the invoice.
  • ProMaster Conversion Kit: twenty-four (24) month warranty from the date of purchase shown on the invoice.

Conforming Use

The purchaser must use the conversion kit from ÉQUIPEMENTS ROADLOFT INC. ("Roadloft") in accordance with the instructions in the owner's manual provided at the time of purchase. The purchaser remains fully responsible for damages, breakages, or premature deterioration resulting notably from use or maintenance not in accordance with the manual, improper installation, or unforeseen use.

All products and accessories not manufactured by Roadloft are covered exclusively by the manufacturer's warranty applicable to these products. They must be used and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

Warranty Duration and Conditions

1. Roadloft Products (Excluding ProMaster kit)

The ProMaster conversion kit is guaranteed against manufacturing and material defects for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the date shown on the purchase invoice. Coverage is applied as follows:

1. ProMaster conversion kit

The ProMaster conversion kit is warranted against manufacturing defects and materials for twenty-four (24) months from the date on the purchase invoice. Coverage is applied as follows:

Claim procedure

Any claim under this warranty must be submitted in writing to info@roadloft.com within 15 business days of the discovery of the defect. 

The written notice must include the following: 

  • Proof of purchase of the product (invoice stating the date of purchase); 
  • A detailed description of the defect found; 
  • Photographs clearly showing the condition of the product. 

Delivery of damaged package

In case of visible damage on delivery of the package: 

  1. Do not open the package immediately. 
  2. Photograph the box from different angles to properly document the exterior damage. 
  3. Open the package with care after taking the necessary photos. 
  4. Photograph the condition of the product inside if it shows damage.
     

Any claim related to the delivery of a damaged package must be sent to Roadloft within a maximum of ten (10) business days following delivery.
After this period, no requests will be considered. 

The written notice must be sent to info@roadloft.com and include: 

  • Proof of purchase; 
  • Description of observed damages; 
  • Photographs of the damaged product; 
  • Photographs of the packaging before opening the package. 

Warranty exclusions

This warranty becomes inapplicable if: 

  • The product has been used abnormally or for unintended purposes; 
  • The product has been exposed to an unsuitable or extreme environment; 
  • The product has been modified or altered by a person not authorized by Roadloft; 
  • The product has been repaired by an unauthorized person. 

Out-of-warranty repair or replacement

All parts of the conversion kits are replaceable or repairable at the buyer's expense unless covered in whole or in part by this warranty. 

A detailed quote will be provided to the buyer, who must: 

  1. Accept the quote; 
  2. Pay all estimated costs. 

Work will be performed only after receipt of both of the above. 

Shipping and handling fees

Unless otherwise stated in the Returns and Exchanges Policy, the buyer is responsible for all costs of returning the product to Roadloft (transport, handling, packaging). 
If these costs are advanced by Roadloft, they will be charged to the original payment method. 

Limitation of Liability

The buyer is responsible for using Roadloft products safely and in compliance with applicable laws. Roadloft cannot be held responsible for: 

  • Any bodily harm, including injury, illness or death; 
  • Any material damage resulting directly or indirectly from the use of the product. 

Additional Provisions

  • Applicable law: 
    This warranty is governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the applicable laws of Canada. 
    Any dispute relating to its interpretation or application shall be submitted to the competent courts of the judicial district of Quebec. 
  • Definition of "defect": 
    A manufacturing or material defect that significantly affects the functionality of the product. Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, and minor cosmetic alterations are not covered.
  • Custom or modified products: 
    Excluded from the standard warranty unless otherwise specified in writing by Roadloft.
