Taking a shower while travelling is not complicated at all.
Traveling and sleeping in your vehicle (minivan, SUV, or pickup) equipped with a Roadloft conversion kit doesn't mean sacrificing hygiene. Public restrooms are available along the route. And in case of emergency, we use a portable toilet in our minivan: a tried and tested, clean solution.
For showering, you have many options, even if you are sleeping for free in the great outdoors or incognito in the city.
1. CampingEven without camping, if you ask nicely at reception, most campgrounds will charge you between $2 and $5 to use their facilities. You can even take advantage of this to do your laundry! |

2. Portable ShowerThere portable shower is a good option for adventures far from the cities. All you need is enough water and a willingness to take cold showers. Several options are available: with or without electricity, with a foot pump, or gravity-fed. There's something for everyone. We recommend the portable shower from NatureHike for its ergonomic nozzle and pressurized foot pump. Combine it with a camping shower cubicle to create an intimate and comfortable space, wherever you are. |
